Christmas Tree Sale 2008

Well, we'd guessed that given the current climate we'd probably not sell as many trees at the school this year and we weren't far wrong.

Sales were down to approximately 50% of the figure of 2007, even given their very keen pricing that flew in the face of that of the nearby garden centres. Even so, the PSA raised £120 at this event.

Next year, the consensus seems to be that we expand the sale to include a gazebo of secondary Christmas goods (related to trees and decorating), and that we have the return of the Christmas music!

We're also going to try to go for a Saturday in 2009 to get a greater number of footfalls past the tree display - Saturday 12th December has been penciled in.
